Can anyone help?

My headset is running rough and on dismantling the lower race is shagged.

The code on the bearing is Cane Creek HSS20130 STEEL.

I usually buy my bearings from here but cant find them!

Am I being dumb!!??

The bearing is 41mm in diameter with a 30mm bore and 7mm thick. It has a 45 degree bottom edge.

Can anyone help in finding me a replacement? Here's hoping

Cheers

MM

AWCycles in Reading usually stock them. Albeit bearings from bike shops work out more expensive than those picked up at bearing suppliers.

you can get S-3 bearings here (they're 'steel')

i'm pretty sure they're the same size as S-8 bearings, which you can get here (they're stainless steel)

if your bearings died from rust, it might be worth getting the stainless ones, but if they just got a bit gritty, stainless won't help, get the standard cheaper ones.

41.8 x 30 x 7 45degree is the campag standard - I think they're the same bearings as BMX headsets.

Perfect. Thanks ahwiles.

Didn't think to check the obvious presuming a bearing supplier would be cheaper.
