Cane Creek DBIL Air stroke change

Got a spare CC DBIL Air from my old bike. It's 216 x 63. New bike is 190 x 45.

Anyone know if the CC shock can be shortened to 190 x 45? I noticed the shaft is longer than 63 so I'm hoping it's possible.

I don't know, but if I were you I'd just buy this and sell yours...

I had the size changed on my IL coil (the damper part is the same as the IL air I believe). Went from 200x57 to 210x55. That was done by TF Tuned.
