Anybody used one of these? I suspect so as they appear to be pretty commonly fitted as stock parts.
Reason for asking is that I stripped mine down today and was amazed how filthy and dirty the internals were. Fair enough the weather has pretty wet for the 2 months I've had the bike...covered around 150 miles. Any sealing seems to be non existent.
Are the 40 series any better sealed?

Mine was dead after 3 months changed it for a Hope which is still smooth 4 years later.
