A wild ride this morning
This is a good start from the coast
[IMG] [/IMG]
Gnarmac 20% with exposed rock patches
[IMG] [/IMG]
Some brutal hairpins
[IMG] [/IMG]
Leads to the gates
[IMG] [/IMG]
Lots of this
[IMG] [/IMG]
[IMG] [/IMG]
[IMG] [/IMG]
Everyone rocking a fade
[IMG] [/IMG]
Here is me pulling a Gnarmac pose

Your gnarmac pose is identical to my "contemplating a shit" pose.

It's actually more like 'I contemplated that shit for too long, now I'm touching cloth'. ๐Ÿ˜€

I've done a couple of Sustrans/cycle path tours but nothing proper off road. I think the Sustrans cycle network is ideal for this type of bike - quiet lanes and gravel tracks, cycle paths etc.

Have seen on the Bear Bones forum that someone has planned a LEJOG gravel CX route and is doing it in October over 10 days so it will be interesting to see how it pans out.

Mine is soooo gnar, sometimes I have to shoulder it to stop it getting out of control.

Loving the bike tang and great to see it's colour coded with the environment and ridden correctly too.

All good, but my pics will remain on the "show us your" thread.. Don't want to confuse things now nor dilute.

A few pictures as well, including some from GW's video. I love riding CX bikes in total inappropriate locations, I remember when I rode my old one down The Beast, that was testing.

great pictures, I need to get my Croix De Fer away from tarmac touring more perhaps ๐Ÿ™‚

......although, and maybe it's just me, but quite a few of the pics look like the riding would be a lot more fun on a HT MTB !!!

Answer: none more Gnar.

He's walking carrying a bike and yet knows what he's doing? I think not.
That picture is the antithesis of Gnarmac, not a lot of riding off road there.

No Gnar as its pictured in the garden and I'm banned on medical reasons from any riding. Sprayed up by yours truly and running 35mm rubber.

Thanks for the updated pics peeps, love them, those socks are awesome. Any more pics from the lake district or moorland riding from the pennines at all? I just got back from a bikeless week in the Eden Valley with the family and walking along I could see the back of Blencathra one side and the pennines the other. Would love to know what I was missing out on!
