For the fixie, I've got done nice leather brooks bar tape. I want to peel it back to fit some gel pads, then reapply it.
Can this be done, or is bar tape single use stuff?

I've done it a few times. I know people who will tell you it's single use only but done carefully, it should be fine.
you can sometimes reuse, is the brooks stick on tape? if it is, it is harder to remove, and so less likely that you can reuse. If you want to try be very careful removing, the tapes i have used have a tendency to stretch a little and those that are stick on are more prone to ripping.
I've certainly reused it a few times.
It remains a little tacky so still sticks.
I'm sure cork tape is non-adhesive and held by tension alone.
I've done it before. And I usually put a light coating of 'prit-stick' glue on my bars first for extra stickiness!
I haven't tried it on brooks leather tape though.
