So , after various experts have forecast a third consecutive "arctic" winter, a quick check has revealed that Wiggle have ice spiker tyres in stock at the moment.
Now, I reckon, if enough of us buy ice tyres, that will guarantee the warmest winter on record.....
unfortunately for your plan I own a pootle the flump beanie hat which magically creates a little cloud that rains and snows.
It's one of my favourite hats, so unless you Pay me..........One thousand pounds! I shall wear it all winter...so there
Apparently New York had the warmest days on record after 9/11, due to all the planes being grounded.
Also we had great weather when there was all that volcano fuss and not many planes were flying.
Frankly, a warm winter will still be wet and thus, somewhat muddy. I'd rather have frozen. Arguably, when its frozen without the snow, its grippier than the summer, and oh-so fast.
Wire bead, £72???

More likely to have a serious effect on the economy then the weather at those prices.
I'm not knocking snowy riding - I love it - but sliding across an icy road towards a Volvo XC90 with my helmet bouncing of the tarmac is not an exprience I'm keen to repeat!
Given the ridiculously dry summer round here*, a warmer, wetter winter may be what we actually need. Which is not what I want at all.
* here being Derby
