I'm using Conti Travel Contacts at the moment, but they're 700g and it's like pedalling with a dead horse on my wheels.

Any recommendations?

WTB Vulpine, a semi slick that is fast on the road and holds on well off road as long as it's not muddy.

They weigh 530g for the 26" version.

I can only see the vulpines in 29"

Dobo - is the Rubino a road tyre only?

Should have mentioned that I'm looking for 1.5"-1.7"...

on or off road?

if its on road only undoubtable conti ultra gator skins.

they are pure road tyres, availible in 26"

about a 0.8"/0.9" size, pure slick, best run at 110psi 😈

ultra gators are pure road, and at those pressures will knacker the rims at a hint of roughness.

I'm running Vredestein Killer Bees, all 2.4" of them. Fast as you like, plenty comfy and happily tackle steps or other obstacles of interest to the commuter.
