Picked up the basic hero (£99 grey one) but since the camera is built into the housing. I'm worried about scratching the lense, if in use then fine, but just from knocking about I'd be annoyed.
Was thinking about one of [url= http://www.dx.com/p/bz118-protective-silicone-lens-cover-for-gopro-hero-3-black-314613#.VLEuttKsWSo ]these[/url] but not sure if Gopros are all the same size.
If someone can mesure theirs I'd appreciate it, mine comes up at 36x33.5mm.

Sorry, I meant the size of the lense Square on the housing.
Hi Scott, the outside of the square bit is 43.5mm wide by 39mm tall. It's a Hero 3 black. If you need any more info just shout 🙂
Cheers DHDave, looks like a hero 3 is to big hopefully someone with a hero 2 turns up. I think the 3 and 4 are the same size.
