Unless you set a reserve, the BIN price will disappear when the first bid goes in.

What's happened?

Someone has bid on it?

Once someone has bid, the BIN price goes. You did put a suitable reserve on it didn't you?

*toddles off to look for it on 'tbay *

PS - good guerilla marketing skillz!

Has someone placed a bid?

Yes; and when they did, the BIN price disappeared.

So are you saying I need to pull it, set a RESERVE price AND a B.I.N. price as well?
How do I pull it? ( pictures with arrows instead of techno explanations work better for me ).

In my eBay, go to more actions at the end if the item line. There should be end item in the drop down list.

If you wanted at least £170 for it, why not just make that the starting price? It's what I always do, ok you don't get 50 bids on it, but the one you get is at the right price, if someone wants BIN they can email you, you sort it away from eBay and save on fees.

Go set up a shill account and force the price up. Same ethical/moral level as insisting on paypal gift.

Isn't eBay offering free listing today? If so start the item at the price you want for it. Insertion fee is based on starting price, so you won't get stung.

You can set it to BIN only, no auction. Then there is no bidding, its more of a classified ad. Use the best offer thing if you are willing to negotiate a little. You may be able to cancel the bid and then change the auction without cancelling it.
