Bewildered. Looking to build some 'adventure' type 700c wheels. I've seen Iron Cross on 'Cross bikes but they seem to be limited to certain pressures. Grails seem better, slightly wider which I guess is good. Then there's Arch EX, Crest and I know the Alpha ones are road orientated. Does it matter? Merlin have deals on pairs of rims at the moment but the grails are only 24h. So what do the STW gurus advise?

I'm using Crests on mine, decent compromise of weight and strength

So Grails are wider and higher pressure but heavier. Iron Cross are more old school width but lighter though with limited pressures. Flow are tough mtb things and Crest is somewhere in between. Shame Merlin aren't selling pairs of Crests for a bargain price.
Thanks.
