[img] [/img]Looks primarily structural - carbon stay into ally dropout- but will my wife die if we use this to mount a mudguard?

Isn't that what it's for? Mudguard or rack, I'd have thought.

What can possibly go wrong?! ๐Ÿ˜€

Cheers guys.

There does seem to be a joint between 2 sections, the dropout on the side near the camera with a recessat teh back for an eyelet on the end of the seatstay on the side away from the camera. Looks like the a joint that's been painted over. It goes all the way through, to a rather beefy allen nut on the other side.

If it didn't go through to a nut on the other side, I wouldn't be so bothered. If it was completely spare, waiting for something to be bolted on, there wouldn't be a bolt in it already, or anything on the other side?

So no-one else is concerned for my wife's face? Can anyone else see where I'm coming from with it possibly being structural?
