I'm setting up a second wheelset and I can't find the same formula rotors anywhere... can I basically use any others or are they different thicknesses and or compatibilities etc.

You have to watch out, formula are metric based ie 200mm where others (such as hope and hayes) are based in inches ie 8 inches which = 203mm.
