[#3056735]

Off to Morzine at the weekend, and have some nice new pedals to take out with me. Thing is, I'm slightly concerned that those nice folk at Heathrow Terminal 5 will take exception.

I've read through the rules, and (unsurprisingly) pedals aren't mentioned. So does anyone know whether this is OK?

Could you hijack a plane with a pair of SPDs?

I didn't have any problems to Spain and back in may tbh - although I did wonder.

Don, it's 'cos I'm only taking hand luggage. The bikes are already out there.

Am pretty sure I've been OK, it is down to individual airports though (avoid Belfast City!)

I've done it before without issues. They didn't even question me as to what they were, which I was expecting (I once had to explain that a cake was just a cake at Heathrow).
