can i run shimano splined rotors with avid brakes??

im going back to shimano hubs but need a 20mm front hub and they only come with splined rotor fitting so i was wondering if i could get away with using a shimano splined rotor with an avid juicy 3 brake caliper with no problems??

My mate bought a complete bike from Leisure Lakes with Juicy 3s and Deore CL hubs. Seems ok.

I have Avid rotors on XT brakes too.

any reason to not buy a centrelock to 6 bolt adaptor? assuming you already have a 6 bolt rotor you could use that is.

I've swapped rotors around no problem.

+1 no problem. If you have a particular liking for Avid rotors then I believe some of them are available in CL anyway.

I had a problem using BB7s and XTR rotors. I had to remove the wee "pad removal" tab from the inner brake pad.
