cha****ng - do you wear clown's trousers, by any chance? You'd need to to have any chance of getting that in the pockets

Little update from the OP. Someone sent me a mint sauce key ring to keep, completely gratis out of the kindness of their heart.

Sometimes your faith in human nature gets a proper boost.

Much appreciated!

how are these holding up? i'm thinking of getting one next year but don't want an aura of disappointment to sour the initial post delayed gratification euphoria.

and no user pics yet? hanging next to your niche singlespeed(or inbred),
casually arranged next to your coffee machine or dangling out of the ignition of your pointless psudo-4x4 vehicle?

or are you all ashamed of your purchases?

Is psudo pretending to be pseudo?

And is Izuzu an off-shoot of Isuzu?

I wonder how non-MBUK reading people react upon seeing them
"What's that keyring supposed to be?"
"It's Mint Sauce, a mountain biking sheep from a comic"
"You what? It looks nothing like a sheep"
"Well, this is an abstract representation of the cartoon, which itself is an abstract representation of a sheep"
"How much did it cost?"
"Erm"
"Do you have any other cartoon-related trinkets? Gold plated Dennis the Menace & Gnasher badges, perhaps?"

Unlikely

That keyring that was made, bit big to be of any use as a keyring really?

too big for a keyring? maybe they could be used as a saddle dangler?
swinging in the breeze with gay abandon sending out a coded message to other mountainbikers?

What's wrong with a hankerchief in the back pocket?

I've managed to avoid this thread thus far but curiosity has finally gotten the better of me. Any chance of a quick summary haiku to get me up to speed please? Yes, too lazy to read all 12 pages. Ta.

pedalhead not a haiku but;

a) man wants sheepy keyring to copy
b) sheep creator offers to sort it out - lots of people decide to buy
c) process takes a long time, people (largely not the buyers) get uppity and ladle abuse on sheep man.
d) items arrive, some people question resemblance of items to said sheep.

Could somebody post a photo of the sheep that doesn't look like THE sheep!

That coaster was given away free with MBUK

I've lurked long enough after looking long and hard to find this page from an old MBUK:

Wish I 'd found it sooner when the 'COMING SOON...' label would have been more appropriate...

[s]For those of you who just can't wait for these to arrive[/s]In case you missed out - I have a cunning plan.

1. Take an old issue of MBUK.
2. Find the Mint Sauce cartoon and select a favourite section.
3. Cut out said section.
4. Fit to this;
[img] [/img]
5. Hey presto your own Mint Sauce keyring.
6. If it turns out great and you wan't to express your gratitude send me one with "Summer" on, I am missing her.

I would make them and sell them if it wasn't so easy to do yourself. I'm the guy who makes those chain cufflinks BTW.

I thought they already had and people were now just kicking through the ashes of the ire that was burning before?

Can we have a picture, Meehaja?

I really do wish I still had a key ring, I meant to make it into a head tube badge but never got around to it. Then I moved house and lost it.

Only remembered to ask as it now seems to be a joke or something? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Asdas in Edinburgh are selling Mint Sauce key rings (in the pocket money section).
Go by car or walk, as the bike parking is useless. ๐Ÿ˜‰
