....... be the cause of a creak?
I've a Thomson post in my FF29 that is a good fit - well the post doesn't slip but it does creak. I'm pretty sure it's not the clamp at the saddle end. I've one of those lightweight CNC seat clamps that doesn't have a lot of meat on it.
Bolt is torqued up correctly and I'm using carbon paste but could the minimalist clamp be the culprit?
I don't have another clamp to try at the minute.
So before I sacrifice 10g in getting a beefier clamp ( 😉 ) I thought I would ask the hive.
Thoughts?

Unlikely to just be the clamp but the combination of a weedy clamp with a Thomson post (which are notorious for creaking and slipping) probably isn't the best
