there is a website with a list of campsites that let you have fires...
anyone know what it is?
I tried the search but all i got was panaracer fire XCs!! ๐

Fisherground in the Lakes nr Eskdale let you. Each pitch has its own fire hearth.

We stayed here yonks ago, was just a campsite with very basic facilities but you could build proper bonfires on the pitches alongside the river! Sounds like its been updated with caravan pitches and better facilities.
Also, last year we stayed at Solway View, near Kirkudbright. Each pitch has a pile of bricks and an old wheel rim as a makeshift firebowl/bbq, as well as great views ๐
