Alright,
planning a trip to Glentress next month and was just going to pitch up in glentress somewhere. Has anyone got any advice on where to do so and what i should/should not be doing while their??
There?
Could be a long thread ๐
Only as in what i should do in terms of camping, like are fires frowned upon is it ok to pitch up near to the car park etc...
Check out the wigwam/cabin things as a possible alternative, look pretty good.
seen them but just going to rock up with my 2 man jobby... someone must of camped up there before...??
Just book in to the campsite down the road, no idea what it was called, but it wasn't expensive.
aye but i'm guessing proper campsite = no fire??
A lot of the suitable ground around the carpark has been fenced off recently, I suspect to deter wild campers.
Its scotland - you can camp where yo want so long as yo are reasonable. Lighting fires in the forest is out basically tho IIRC - I can't be bothered to check the code.
Check the access code

We have recently camped here, out of your tent and onto the trails, what more could you ask for! ๐

Give the guy 'Ian Ritchie' a call, a very nice and helpful guy.
The facilities are new and very nice!
