Anyone used these bottles. I got one and it lets you drink from it with a bit of sucking action. Only problem, and it's a problem with all bottles getting muddy but the Podium bottle even more so because the top valve has an open design letting dirt in which isn't very nice and also hard to clean. Anyone else use one for mtb'ing or road riding noticed this?

i have them and on the road they're spot on. never noticed more crap getting in there than any other bottle, and they're much better for racing and just plonking the bottle back in the cage.
Off-road I could see they'd catch the clag a bit more, and clag tastes of digested dog food. that's what camelbaks are for.
