Hi guys,

Pretty new to this forum, decided to start using it!

Is there anyone on here that lives anywhere near Cambridge that goes over to places like Chicksands/Woburn sands that fancies a ride sometime?

Both Woburn and Chicksands are great year round due to the magic Green Sands Ridge which provides well drained sandy soil that doesn't stick. Chick sands is nearer to you has a small cross country loop and a play bike area. The dual Slalom course is fun and doesn't require super human juming ability. It costs £5 to ride at Chick Sands.

Woburn has alot more space for an XC ride and IMHO provides some fun single track. It also has Freeride jump area. This looks scary to me. Permits for Woburn are a few quid from Stock Grove Country Park

Both places are busy enough so that I don't find riding alone a worry during day light hours.

Here is a picture of Jedi, well I think its him. If you are not yet at the same standard you could pay him for a lesson. I think I will when the virus season is over

Whoah, Jedi looks like a bit of a beast, you wouldn't catch me going off a drop that big!!!

I ride at chicksands quite a lot. Not too bad at the 4x and chickshore and trying to get better at the dirt jumps.

Would definitely like to meet up with you guys for a ride sometime. I got plenty of mates that i go riding in the peaks etc with but only one who's up for chicksands and the like and he is currently extremely broken 🙁

my daughter (5 yo) just watched that and she said "It was great and very clever. He was very good. I wouldn't like to do it, it's too scary. He was very brave and I loved it!"

I just showed her the VW ad with Danny McAskill too, and she's hooked. Time to find some more.
