[Closed] Camber Comp BB - upgrade options?

I have owned a Spec Camber Comp 2013 since Sep 2014. This comes with the following spec on the BB: Bottom Bracket Sram PF30, OS Press-In Bearing, Sealed Cartridge

After a winter of riding, mine now sounds like it's full of gravel, and while I've had BBs fail in the past it's never happened in just one winter.

The LBS where I bought the bike say bearings have just a three month warranty and failure over a winter of riding isn't unusual. Fair, or should I be right to expect a longer life?

No matter the answer to the above, I need a replacement. Did I get unlucky, or is this a basic component and there are higher spec versions available? Any recommendations which would work as alternatives?
