Looking to get a Strael 2 but before I make the effort to go and try one (it's a day trip for me) I wondered about peoples experience of those and the Faran and how Fairlight/Swift are to deal with?

I don't have one but whenever I do go into the Swift shop I am always impressed by their knowledge and attitude - spoke to the Jon Ried about the Strael and he is very enthusiastic about the bikes. Took my mate in their for some accessories, and he is from a big biking family, and he came out saying 'that's a proper bike shop'.

Ah didn't know they sold them through the Swift shop, interesting that. Am rather tempted by the Strael 2.

Jon is one of the owners of Fairlight but from my emails so far they're pretty straightforward to deal with. I've got a fitting booked to size a Fairlight (maybe Strael 2) assuming the insurance comes through for my nicked CAAD.
