No not that sort of calf. After a long ride today, my calf began to hurt on the last climb and it doesn't seem much better now I have been lounging around at home. Unfortunately I have entered an event tomorrow and I don't want to waste the entry. What is the ST medics opinion on the wisdom of riding tomorrow?

Do it. Take some ibuprofen. Don't sprint from the line. Buy now - pay later*.

*unless you have a more important event next week or rely on full mobility to provide income.

If theres a single hot spot on your calf, and a deep ache get to the hospital, quite quick.

From sore calf to DVT in 2 posts that's quite impressive.

What's the event?

Nope it's definitely not DVT, I've had that already! I think I will go with the ibuprofen plan and doss about for the rest of the week.

Well I took the ibuprofen and did the ride and finished , rather slower than usual but with no re-occurence of the pain. Yesterday when I posted I could hardly walk, so a result. Thank you chaps
