I appreciate there's a bit of geography involved here, but I've got a bit of a trip coming up, with anything form a couple of days to a week to kill in each of the above places. I'd very much like to get a bit of biking in to break up the sightseeing a little so any tips or suggestions, please, would be most welcome.
Cairns - this one seems fairly easy, rent bike, find World Cup / Championships course (which on the face of it seems pretty near the city centre), hang on and try not to kill myself.
- Sydney/surroundings? I've got a week in and around Sydney, figured I'd spend a few days moping around the city then hire a car and get away for a the next 4 days. Blue Mountains seems like a popular choice, anything obvious I'm missing?
- Queenstown - this one seems even easier, I'm not anticipating too much difficulty filling my days here!
