Can anybody show me photos of how the gear cables and brake cables are routed on an '04 Specialized Enduro.

I have the frame, but for the life of me I can't picture how the routing goes. I guess I need a bottom swing front mech, but the cable side of things has me baffled

Cheers

Yes it is. I just can't picture how they run. I saw one photo that looked like a continous cable outer run to the rear, which can't be right.

Cheers for the help

It's not a continuous outer for the rear... bars to down tube, then another under the BB to the right side chainstay, then from the chainstay to your rear mec.

Front mec, you need to be careful, as there isn't much space on the little bit of tube to mount it. top swing, bottom pull is what you need.

Cables and Hoses go under the downtube, loop under the BBshell and along the chainstays.
I fit full outer cables on customers' bikes by running the rear gear cable with the brake hose, cross over under the BB and zip tie it along the chainstay. A neoprene chainstay protector can help to keep the cable protected too.

Cheers people

Any photos of the continous run as well?

Both will help me.

Cheers

My old frame I guess!

I ignored the standard routing as it's a bit crap. Pic linked below shows how I used it but basically full length rear gear outer run along the side of the 'top tube' then down to the stay with the rear brake hose doing the same on the other side

It is and the routing is driving me mad, it just looked crap, couldn't see how it worked either.

Now I will just do it my own way. with cable ties.

Any ideas on what length of rear brake hose is needed?

Bought a top swin bottom pull didn't fit

[s]Presume it was meant to be a bottom swing bottom pull[/s]

Bought wrong one.
