Just cabling up an old scandal 29er frame with the full length outers under the top tube.
It seems as though most On One frames are designed to have the cable run down the same side as the shifter but I always prefer to have a nice loop round the head tube. Should I bother trying to force it to loop nicely (by either crossing by the seat post or just behind the headtube) or just go with the same side thing which just doesnt seem natural to me forcing the cable to twist sharply.

I always loop at the front and cross back at the seat cluster if I can.
I tried crossing at either end of the head tube and then gave up and fitted them as On One intended and have a neoprene headset protector to stop rub.
all built now and I have to say I am liking this 29er thing! Dying to get out onto some bridleways now as it's my general pootling bike.

actually the deciding factor was the inner I was using for the rear was too short to do my preferred route and not rub on the head tube too much. Was just reusing some hardly used stainless inners. Got it all looking neat in the end.
Chain length was cutting it close though. Brand new KMC 9 speed chain on 3x9 with 11-34 and only had to remove one inner and one outer.
