Hi,

I know you can get these: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=33951 for the obvious. However, can you purchase similar items which essentially allow for a full outer guide to be routed through, but screw onto the frame in the same way? There are some ragley ones on CRC but not sure if these would be universal. And tbh, plastic will do.

If not I'll bodge with O Rings, but thought may as well ask.

Screw on to the frame? Has your frame already got the threaded holes to do so, in it?

This screws into your half guide.

thanks guys, the first one from JRTG looks good. I'm going to try and do it with O rings first (£2 for 180 from ebay) and see how that looks. I figure as there are cable stops either side of the downtube (symmetrical), I can loop an O ring around the gear cable and then string this between the two with a big of tension. It'll be centralised and look OK, and be relatively secure.

And full length, of course.

and by screw onto the frame, I actually meant specifically screw into the bottom bracket hole, as my frame has one of the ones I linked currently.
