Anyone done this and in particular the offroad sections, which guide book/map did you find most helpful.

Is this the Sustrans route with the optional off road bits?

Yeah thats the one, already read the site but just wanted some personal experience info, there are loads of guides about but which ones are good bad I have no idea.

As i said I think that's the one I bought. They seem to have reprinted it.
The list of B&Bs was useful in it. And the bike shops when we had a mechanical.
How many days are you doing it over?
