Buying a bike from another forum user based on guernsey - will i have vat etc to pay when it comes back ashore ?

When you hoping to get it?
If i didn't live too far from the south coast, I'd get a Condor ferry across as a foot passenger, then cycle it back across.
£25 for a day ticket, and makes a lovely trip!
