All the online retailers (CRC, Wiggle, Merlin, Ribble et al) were promoting sales/offers before the last posting date, but when I went in to order the things on my shopping list, found that the discounts promised were on certain items only, or applied to par tof my basket.
Currently am contemplating spending £350-£400 on bits and bobs, and with a 2.5% VAT increase this could add further expense.
Should I wait for the "Jan sales", and buy now and save the VAT
want want want want 🙂 🙂
buy now worry later 🙂
The VAT change will only make about £8.50 change on a £400 total.
Hardly the end of the world

What, like £10 will make any difference...
Go through a cashback site and you'll get more than that back
You could even click this easy link http://www.topcashback.co.uk/ref/santacruzxc
and I will get a couple of quid just for suggesting it! Everyone's a winner!
You shouldn't assume that prices will go up as a result of the VAT increase. Not all retailers would stoop that low......
