I want to sell an entry to an Ironman, what's the best tri forum for that?

It's only 3 weeks away so I appreciate I'll need some luck!

You should still enter, Al. Because even with your pitiful bike skills most of the other competitors might then get to learn some road/cycle craft.!

I've just come in from watching the wife in a local sprint tri and dear god the quality of riding is woeful! Not a single hand signal from any of them, barely any road sense at all. Cornering like a newborn deer with an ear infection. It's a miracle half the field aren't DNFd in a ditch.

Anyway rant done. Try runners world forum.

Is it an 'Ironman' ironman? If so not sure you can get away with selling it as they normally ask for photo id at registration. And I don't think you can do an official transfer can you?

Heh stoner, I know, they are dreadful, I've only entered long/small events so not had to deal with numpty riding much, though the offroad one I did was truly shocking - folk puncturing on the CLIMBS!!?!?

It's the Ratrace City to Summit - I've been told it's OK to transfer entries.

That looks a great event....but not this year.

Not all triathletes are terrible bike handlers - it's a bit like saying all cyclists jump red lights. Plenty of pointy end age groupers road race as cat 2 and above to keep themselves sharp and ride with road clubs. Some are terrible I admit - it's a broad church.
