Family chat this morning has come to consensus that we should take pooch out on the bikes with us.

So....anyone used a Burley Tail Wagon?

Perhaps someone may have one for sale 😉

Thanks.

Light weight, well made, works well. Can’t comment on the long term reliability as our dogs went mental whenever they went in it, so we gave it to friends. They like it.

Won’t go on a bike with a through axel, needs qr or bolt.

Seems like a well-designed and constructed bit of kit, we have one in the hire fleet and it's always well received by dog owners. Not all dogs get on with it though!

If you're within striking distance of mid Wales you'd be welcome to give ours a try.

We got one originally to use as a buggy for our elderly lab, was surprised how quickly he took to it. We have had for 4 years which included 2 years of daily use as a buggy. Then last 3 years used every couple of weekends with the other pooch to get to trails and then leave it. Had no issues with it at all in terms reliability. our second pooch took a bit of convincing and having the covers put over for awhile till he figured out it meant a ride later. Overall really glad we got one.

Robert Axle Project do through axle adaptors for all Burley trailers. Not particularly cheap but they do work well.

If you want a trailer, you really can’t go wrong with Burley. Well made and years and years of experience.
