I’ve got a pair of Burgtec Composites which are a bit creaky so have just stripped them. Bearings look fine, I’ve pulled out the bushings which have 1212 written in them. I don’t want to pay £20 for a rebuild kit if I can just get bushings. Do I just need to look for 1212 bushings or am I missing something?
Careful measurement should give you enough info to buy the bushing elsewhere. You'll need outside & inside diameters & the width. Plain sleeve bearings are generally cheap.

I’ve ordered a pair of 1212 bushings as seem to be a standard size, fingers crossed!

Quick update. 1212 bushings arrived and fitted into the pedals. One still feels a bit notchy so maybe bearing is a bit worn but otherwise they seemed to fit together ok. Won’t get to ride them properly for a couple of weeks now due to commitments but will have a quick spin and report back.
