[#7078892]

I'm after one for the wife's bike.

- either new or s/hand
- 26" wheel
- ideally QR but I could handle 15mm/20mm too
- 120mm ish - can go a bit more if needed
- must be 1 1/8, non-tapered.
- doesn't need to be burly so 32mm stanchions are fine

I'm thinking Reba or maybe Sektor...?

What's a good s/hand buy and what's a good new bargain?

Recently bought a Reba on ebay. Really happy with it. Stick an ad in the wanted section

Dual Air Reba second hand would be my choice. Easy to service and much better than the new Solo Air ones.

Alltricks had some really cheap Recons a few weeks back. Might be worth checking on there if you wanted something new. The RL versions are practically the same as the Solo Air Rebas, just a little bit heavier.

mmm can't find any non-tapered on Alltricks. Maybe need to go s/hand?

If you can't stretch to a Reba the Manitou R7 is a great fork that is often cheaper

lowered from 150mm LoCo?

Alltricks have some for £245. Might be doable.

Is DIY lowering possible LoCo?

Hey - I've a set of very little used 2011 Fox F120RL forks, 26", QR, 1 1/8th and black. Stripped, cleaned and ready to go to a new home. They've done about 25hrs riding and the only issue was that the upper stickers peeled a bit so I removed them. Stantions perfect and will include a set of new seals.

Would sellthem for £90 posted or you could collect from Edinburgh if near and we can negotiate on price?

Email on my profile if you are interested.

Cheers
Scott.

Suntour Epicon, no contest. Buy the 100mm version and adjust the travel yourself 😀
