Budget 11 speed groupset

I'd grab the bits separately where they are cheap, yeah. Possibly...

XT shifter
Deore mech
Deore or SLX cassette
SLX chainset

Or you could get the 1x10 Microshift Advent X setup, that has an 11-48 cassette which is a reasonable weight

I picked up cheap 11spd bits recently but it was a mix, Deore Cranks from CRC for £40 (incl BB, although it said it didn't). XT Rear Mech for £60 and Shifter for £50 from Fawkes Cycles. Cassette/chain I already had but I think they were cheapest somewhere else again,

The days of just buying a groupset seem to be over, or at least a discounted one compared to the deals on individual components.

There are 11-speed Shimano drivetrain groupsets on Ebay for about £150 new/complete but unboxed, but I've never taken a punt on them.

I have seen some of those listed @jfab, but listings look shonky AF and I try to support UK based companies if I can...

Same here, I oddly enjoy hunting around and putting a groupset together from a few places. Plus you get loads more parcels to open, which is always fun!

CRC have deore 11 speed mechs for £20 at the moment. Lots of cheap shifter options too

Edit: I reckon that you could probably nearly match that AliExpress price but Deore not a 'promise of Cues' and get it delivered in a couple of days (Evri depending). My mech came in 36 hours after seeing the PSA.

Deore m5100 11 speed mech + any Shimano 11 speed shifter you can get cheap. Then Shimano or sunrace 11-50 cassette will fit on an hg freehub. Those deore cranks seemed cheap at CRC and even if they don’t come with a bb it’s cheap enough to pick one up. I’d put a Sram X1 chain on it as they were the best price vs longevity I found on 11 speed.

Thanks all, with the help of @breninbeener, some links here and some PSA's I appear to have put an 11 speed Deore drivetrain together for less than the Sram NX 12 at CRC!
