I think it would be nice if they were cut at an angle.

The scalpel has some pretty neat routing.

I love their frames. I've wanted a Curtis for years, but I think I prefer these now. They have a sort of honest functional look about them.

Looks like the cables will have a sharp corner to negotiate- unless that's a curved noodle. TBH I think it looks a bit industrial and ugly, but beauty is in the eye.....

Rather like goats, cables are best kept outside.

Can't find a picture to link to atm but Kris Henry @ 44Bikes has a beautiful solution for his internal routed hoses/cables.

I think it'd look better if cut off flush and smoothed over with fillet keeping smooth edges all round.

It's what i had done. Internal for dropper only.

๐Ÿ’ก ^ if angled correctly BTRs internal going external pipework for internal routing might prevent the cables rubbing on the fork crown or headtube, maybe.

Although it does rather feel like the aesthetes have now mostly triumphed over logic...

I wouldn't want those ports, they'd get mullered in a crash.
I do like that bike though, I bet that 29 is loopy!

Sounds like the internal threading is like the Saracens of the late 80s. A winner for me on that alone

Just cant help thinking there going to rip the shit out of your knees at some point, think qwertys example is much cleaner and safer.

Shame they put them on the wrong side!

They are clearly on both sides. 2 on the left 1 in the right. Like the idea but what if you don't run front gears or a dropper. Looks nasty then.

they are an optional upgrade on a frame that's built to spec - if they are not needed then they won't be there
