Not sure how long it's been done but the drop from Abney/Shatton into Brough in the Hope Valley has been turned into a gravel lane with varying height curbstones laid across it. Just come down it at dusk but could fly down pretty fast rather than picking lines, as the gravel builds on the up slope side of the curbs it will be fast and with jumps! Suspect this will end in tears.

Came down there last weekend and almost soiled myself.
Very steep and gravelly and then there was a closed gate 😯
