Can anybody offer any advice on a problem I have with a set of Wotans?

I've only ridden them a few times but once compressed it takes them a long time to rebound, on long descents they just compress and are about as useful as rigid forks!

I've asked around a few places and Magura themselves, they reckon it could be that the rebound damper/cylinder could be blown and need replacing, which will cost a small fortune.

Has ayone seen this before with Wotans and/or know of any better way to get them fixed than signing a blank cheque to Magura?

Any ideas appreciated ta!

Do you cycle between the travel settings when inserting air? Mine 'sank' into their travel when I first got them but it was explained to me that you had to make sure the negative air chamber got its fill as well. Have no idea what that all meant but it worked a treat. So - pump some air in, depress to 120mm, release to 160mm again and carry on doing that until you have reached you chosen air pressure.

Hi, thanks, I had tried all that but they still don't seem to rebound, even when I have the pressure right up at nearly 150psi!

Saw this post which doesn't fill me with confidence as it sounds pretty familiar...
