The black plastic handle at the top (pointing up) has broken, i have emailed Wiggle with no response as of yet, in the mean time has anyone got an idea about how i could create a new cam type handle to work with this?

ATM i am using a shock top hat as a bushing and an allen key and tightening the clamp using the thread!!

the wingnut plan is ok in principle but difficult to get torque hence wanting a cam

I replaced my similar one with a part from a bike rack, a camming handle-thingy.

Get an old skewer and replace the metal bar with a bit of threaded bar cut to length.

That broke on mine, then the lever at the back of the clamp bent and snapped off too. Poor quality IMO. Got a new stand in the end.
