Out for a jolly jaunt on Saturday when I heard a cracking sound from the seat area. Conscious of the stories about carbon seat posts I decided to stop and look, I found this.

I was going uphill on the road bike when I hit a bump in the road which lifted the rear wheel a little, crack!
At 67kg, I'm hardly a bat fastard!
Broken or bent rails I've seen, but never this. Orbea OE seat BTW. Thank heavens for hoarding parts as a new(old) one is ow fitted any we're ready to take advantage of the bank holiday! 😉
