Mavic 717 rim on Deore hub, LBS quoted £108 for new rim and rebuild 😯
So can the spokes be reused or have they been weakened in the crash? I'm tempted to just by a new rim off CRC and attempt a rebuild myself.

The spokes are probably fine. I'd use them again no worries.

Is the rim broken or just a Taco shape. In your shoes I'd take it apart and have a go at straightening the rim if you're trying to save money. It's amazing what can be done with a wheel.
You've nothing to lose and you'll gain a bit of experience.
