Last Sunday I snapped the drive side chainstay on my 5 year old Stumpjumper FSR, luckily for me I didn't fall off (again) and hurt myself but had a bit of a long walk after.
Talked to local Spesh dealer, Certini in Saltash on Monday and by Thursday I had a new chainstay and seatstay fitted. The back end isn't covered under the lifetime waranty that the mainframe is covered by but they gave me a good price for the replacement inc new set of bearings on the main pivot and a spare mech hanger.
Great Service. Thanks guys. ๐
didn't know that about the back end - is that for all their sus bikes ?
(what is the warranty on rear ?)
Out of interest how much? (If it's not prying ๐ )
I've got one of those frames sitting in my shed that has a slightly bent rear triangle and I'm thinking of getting it replaced.
I believe that the rear is covered for 2 years, I don't know if that applies to all models or if that's the same for newer FSRs.
