So I'm contemplating doing some rounds of the British XC series and my British Cycling membership needs to be renewed.
Does anyone know if the provisional racing licence that comes with membership is enough or is a full race license needed for this series?
Ta.
Morning,
I feel as I if I should know this. The full license means that you acquire points a national ranking and the provisional one just covers you in terms of insurance? I think that may be it.
Matt
I don't think you can race more than one race in the BMBS without a full license.
Get a sliver membership and full license. Bronze membership does not include a full license, only provisional. There is gold membership, but you don't really need the stuff that it gives you over silver.
This side of the Atlantic you need a licence.
After 35 years you'd think I'd know this but.....
Anyway isn't a provisional fine for closed circuits?
