There's a trail day in 50 Acre Wood this Sunday (19th April) to fix up the worn section on the Weir Lane side of the wood. The last session over there was brilliant - a big turnout, friendly peeps and we got loads done - and if as many people as possible get over there on Sunday it'll make a massive difference to how well the trail rides.
The trail is being closed very soon for thinning, so we should be able to get even more done than usual, and any repairs we make will have plenty of time to settle in before they're unveiled to the public.
We'll be out from 11.00 until 4-ish, and everyone is welcome to come and lend a hand, even if it's just for a couple of hours. For more into head to http://www.bristoltrailsgroup.com.
And I've just heard that some bloke called Phil Saxena is helping us out again. 😀
