Set your satnavs to [b]BS1 4RB[/b] and bring some bits down to sell, so you can buy more bits. Recent bargains have included sets of original Hope Minis for not much, Wood hubs, SRAM X9 mechs for buttons and Fox forks for a lot less than used Bombers!
Better not mention the minty XTR-for-peanuts bargains I've grabbed in the past because I've got the biggest gob......

I regard a quid a day as needing valet parking.

the best sort! The missus is away for the w/e so I can venture into the big city, have mooch round the jumble and then try all the other cycle shops.

About £2.40 for all day on a Saturday - something like that.
Not as cheap as FoD, but we have less niche attention-seeking types, we have electricity, people have family trees with branches on them and we certainly don't abandon visitors on rides in Bristol!

Would it be worth me coming to sell some mint 970 series xtr avoiding postal charges.
I have XTR brakes, shifters, mechs, XT cranks, Carbon seatposts and bars and Mavic 719 wheels with XTR hubs. Reba forks 115mm VGC.
Or will I get the folk from Retro bike looking for cheap bargains?

I can't help if you won't read the first three words.
Frank - you can never tell - there can be about 50 people turn up - some buyers, some sellers. Different people want different things at different times - someone might be dreaming of mint XTR - someone might want a 7 speed cassette - part of the fun of doing it.
Think I'll give it a miss, ta.

Here's a good tip to both buyers and sellers: remember we're there every month so if you see something out of your budget there's always next month so REMEMBER NAMES AND SWAP NUMBERS!

Did you get a good turn out? Weather was a bit ar$e so I declined to drive up this time...
It was BRILLIANT! I bagged a new Mavic 317 rim for a tenner and there were loads of other bargains.
