what happened to the turbine powered jag?
They made 5 cars, which worked brilliantly, and then they canned the project. I don't think they wanted to compete with the other Hybrid Hypercars such as LaFerrari, MaClaren P1, Porsche 918 etc...

I did the original electric generators for the car i always wondered what happened when it went to hybrid power did williams can the gas turbines

The Gas Turbines were only ever on the show car.
JLR knew that the turbines couldn't live with the vibration in a real road car and replaced them with a 1.6 litre supercharged and turbocharged in-line 4.
The engine revved to 10,000 rpm and sounded like a big motorbike 8)
