it's a tedious spectator sport. possibly enjoyable to play but not to watch. dicks with sticks on bikes.

Like any sport, playing is better than watching, a few of our Sheffield lot were on about going to watch that but I dunno if anyone made it

"mr smith" until you've tried a sport dont knock it! bike polo is amazing fun and technically and physically very difficult.

If your a grumpy middle aged man stick to gash still photography and leave your comments at home.

and rather a dick with a stick, and a nice cross bike, road bike and polo bike than a bell end mamil who struggles into his lycra to ride his lastest fashion road/mtb

I pretty much gave up mountain biking for polo.

Tired of ridiculously expensive bikes with unrealistic servicing requirements and parts that wear out too soon. Tired of driving a 6 hour round trip and wasting a day's wages in petrol for 3 hours of decently technical riding. Tired of marketing hype and pointless 'developments' in bike 'design'. Tired of cleaning my bike after every ride.

If I lived in Wales or the Lake District or wherever, it would be a time-efficient and enjoyable pastime. But like most people I live in a city, very far from decent trails.

And there are more and more people coming to the same realisation as me.
