Can anyone tell me whether this is doable in late October or would I be better going to Fort William.

It's doable all year round. Bit of a motorway though, however it does go through some of the most stunning countryside on the country.

The descent to the ski centre is great though - best done without braking!

took us about 4 hrs to do that section last september............nice and steady taking in the scenery.

the dh to the ski road is ace...fact. 8)
