GWS.

Usual shit in the article:

Mr Robinson was travelling down Lees Hall Road, in Thornhill Lees, at about 13:20 BST when he came off his bicycle.

He didn't come off it, he was removed from it rather forcibly by another vehicle!

To be fair, the article does make it clear that he was "knocked off his bike" and "hit by a car" and has a bit from his son-in-law

Bradley Wiggins was knocked off his bike near his home, and now a Tour de France pioneer has been knocked off his bike just three miles from his home.
Drivers must be cautious. I would urge everybody to take a couple of seconds to make sure they are not putting somebody's husband, father or son in jeopardy.

Saw him a couple of times recently in the Grand Depart build up and he seemed in very hood nick for his age. I hoe he recovers to that same level after this incident.

Good luck Brian.

He was on great form in the interviews on ITV4. I need to go visit the Tolson museum to see his old stuff too.

He came to open a new Cyclepath behind our house a few weeks ago. He is a true gentleman, patiently posing for photos and signing autographs in spite of the abismal weather, riding up and down for the photographers. Hope he has a speedy recovery and is back in the saddle soon.

Just noticed my spelling. Corrected below because it made no sense. Good luck once more.
