looking to go mtbing in wales this summer a few times
ive been to penmacho, betswy coed, afan and coed y brenin
ive been riding for 10 years or so, not down hill stuff....love single track hate climbs haha...(dont we all)
would you recommend any where in the brecon beacons area?

loads of great stuff 'round there. Don't just stick to the trail centres, get out there & ride the hills...it's one of the few places in the south where you can get the feeling of being "out there" I reckon. Good place to start is the Gap & surrounding area. I can highly recommend the longer route in the latest STW...though definitely one for the summer.

get to the black mountain from the bwlch pub loads around there, i will second the gap ride brnmoore tram road is suck a lovely start!!
